Lady Gaga took home the VMA's best dressed and worst dressed looks, often in the same outfit. The reigning queen of outre chic did not disappoint, with multiple outfit changes, including a full-on face mask of red lace, tightie whities, feathers, headgear, and the must-have accessory of the season, a bejeweled crutch.
Lady Gaga, who won best new artist at the awards ceremony Sunday (and dedicated the win to "God and the gays"), also poked fun at her image, arriving at the show with Kermit the Frog, a nod at her July appearance on German television wearing a top made of Kermit stuffed animals.
Though Kermit stayed inside the limo, Lady Gaga gave him a kiss. "He's been a really good date," she says. "It's our first date, but we've been eyeing each other for a while.".

Another celebrity slithers into fall's hottest trend

I know you are all probably sick and tired of my constant posts about snakeskin, but it seems as if this fall trend is spreading like wild fire. Need two more examples? (Probably not, but I'm going to give them anyway!) As I walked through the mall, I noticed my favourite Michael Kor's Hamilton tote (I bought one in white) with a snakeskin print. Swoon. The bag retails for around $450 dollars and is available at the Rideau Mall. Unfortunately since I already splurged for the white Hamilton tote, I can't imagine purchasing the identical bag in snakeskin.

Not loving the snakeskin print? Well it seems as if this fad will certainly stick around for a couple of months as another celebrity has embraced snakeskin! Lady Gaga was seen this weekend leaving the Chateau Marmont on in a yellow Versace (FW2011) print cocktail dress. She paired this fabulous dress with velvet Louboutins.

LADY GAGA Mobbed; Looks... Surprisingly Sane!!

Looks like LADY GAGA is taking a break from her outlandish clothes she wears. I liked seeing that one-shouldered print dress she wore with suede platform heels. The oversized glasses and minimalistic yet creative accessories are a PLUS, too.

Show Me Your Teeth

It’s that time again boys and girls! It’s SHARK WEEK. Shark Week is cable television’s longest-running programming event. It started back in the 80s and it’s just getting bigger and bigger. I know, I know. How does Shark Week have anything to do with fashion or celebrities? Well, it seems that even after 24 years this amazing program has found yet another way to reinvent itself. The Discovery channel has enlisted the help of Andy Samberg who will be the host and the Chief Shark Officer of this year’s shark festivities. 

The 30 second promo for the show entices viewers with an array of camera shots of huge sharks showing off all their large pearly whites, and includes a shot of a frightened Samberg in what looks like an old school scuba outfit. But what’s even better about the promo is that the theme song is non-other but Lady Gaga’s song, “Show Me Your Teeth.” Fitting, non? Come on sharks; show us your beautiful grin! 

And to kick of Shark Week, Lady Gaga (intentionally or non-intentionally) wore a very toothy outfit to the View today. She wore an outfit that was head-to-toe houndstooth by Salvatore Ferragamo (with glasses and a piano to match!).

LADY GAGA In Green: The Color of Money and Freshness, that is...

The crazy interesting LADY GAGA continues to stun her little monsters and even her non-monsters with what she wears. Instead of all the crazy stuff we usually see Lady GaGa wear, this look above is extremely understated by GAGA STANDARDS. This is a MONEY look, meaning that everything about her look is expensive in all categories.

After all, she IS wearing the color of money.

She wore an interesting, Nicki Minaj-ish teal wig which fades to black at the roots to compliment the black glasses, a Valentino leather trench coat, and the formidable CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN 'DAFFODIL' PUMPS for $995. Only GaGa.

Think Outside the Box

I wanted to spice it up for the I Am Fashion event so I went out to Sephora and bought some crazy feather eyelashes ($17 dollars at the Sephora in the Rideau Mall). 

Looks crazy? I got compliments at the event, but then something completely shifted. I headed down to the Heart and Crown to meet a couple of friends and was not ready for the reaction I got. I usually try to push the envelope but I guess that it was a little too much. Come on Ottawa, where is the fashion acceptance? I received a lot of comments: some people called me a peacock, others called me Lady Gaga, and others would just stare. It was an interesting experience. I think for now I might save my feather eyelashes for the fashion events, but until then check out some pictures below!

LADY GAGA nabbed the cover of 'Rolling Stone' Magazine in her usual craziness get-up....

...in this case, it's a black bra and a 'bowtie of HAIR' on her head, and MORGUE MAKE-UP.

On her message to critics who say her main goal is to attract attention: “Is it that you believe that I am attention-seeking or shock for shock’s sake, or is it just that it’s been a long time since someone has embraced the art form the way that I have? Perhaps it’s been a couple of decades since there’s been an artist that’s been as vocal about culture, religion, human rights, politics. I’m so passionate about what I do, every bass line, every EQ. LADY GAGA Craziness Of The Week Pics

Check out the photos I found on Celebuzz. The left pic is that "Born This Way" jacket that she wore before. The far right is the sheer leopard outfit that was the headturner and the MOM-SHIELDS-KIDS'-EYE-er kind of thing. The more conservative but sensual look was the middle one...it actually showed less skin even though you can see 'straight down the middle.'

And that HAIR is a headturner, too. It's like a CRAZY TWIST on the '80s FRENCH ROLL meets GHETTO HAIR SHOW.

I've been entertained just by the hair alone...

LADY GAGA's Sheer Blue Dress w/ Pasties-- What Is This Woman Doin'?

She's always been WAYYY over the top.

She can only be LADY GAGA.

With her sheer blue dress concealing her unmentionables from the waist down but showing a bit from the waist up, along with her 12-INCH PLATFORMS, we probably can do nothing but shake our heads in either amazement, disgust, or in mere confirmation that we're used to the LADY GAGA way.

But... 'LADY GAGA EGG' still takes the cake. :-)

Check out LADY GAGA's official hot rod for her upcoming music video.... and it actually is her hot rod (I don't know how long she had it or whether it was recently purchased for the video). A NIIIIICE CHEVY EL-CAMINO.

Also, Celebuzz asked who wore the dress better, Christina Aguilera or Kristen Stewart? I say CHRISTINA by a mile. Her body is fuller and fills out the dress well. Kristen Stewart looks nice but that CONSTIPATED LOOK on her face throws it all off. See below:

Gaga-esque Shoes That Leave Us Speechless

You think walking in 4 inch heels is hard? Why not try these new Magic Leopard Platforms that are a whooping 12 inches high! Heel-less platforms were introduced first by Lady Gaga. She rocked the Noritaka Tatehana heel-less shoes that cost a mere $3,982 dollars. Ha! I don't think that I would ever pay that much for a shoe. Ever. But I do admit, they look fierce. I wonder...how comfortable are they to walk in when even Lady Gaga took a giant spill when she wore them! And that girl can walk in anythingggg! 

The Magic Leopard Platform is a direct rip-off but only costs around 181 dollars. Finally, a trend that we can afford. Nonetheless, I am not feeling the leopard print and I really don't think I could walk in those heels (although I am a fan of sky highs!). In the end, to each their own. P.S. They are all SOLD OUT. Sorry guys.

It Doesn't Matter if You Love Him

Lady Gaga is on the front cover of ID's spring issue. The theme of the issue? Exhibitionism. Gaga is rocking the facial prosthetics (you don't have to like them but you got to admit that they are original!) and a latex coat by Thierry Mugler. Whacca thunk?

I was first introduced to Thierry Mugler when I rummaged through my mother's drawers and came across Angel. I hated it. My mother tried to pawn off the perfume on me but I refused - I just could not stand the smell! A couple of years later I started to complain that I did not own one single perfume. High school peer pressure at its finest made me want to purchase my own perfume bottle so that I could smell like a girly girl. But I was picky. After multiple sniffs in both Sephora and the Bay, I feel in love with one particular scene: Alien. Thus started my love affair with Thierry Mugler. 

On March 3rd 2011 Theirry Mugler unveiled his Fall/Winter 2001 womenwear line in Paris, France. Nicola Formichetti's debut line for Mugler revealed a collection that was all about blank pantsuits, see-through shirts, peaked shoulders and ridiculously high platform stilettos. Each model got to strut her stuff down a runway littered with a forest of thick pillars crowned with pointed arches that resembled a Gothic cathedral. As an extra treat, Lady Gaga made her runway debut and she was FIERCE.

The pictures look fabulous, but I have to say that the actual show blew my mind. Great models, music and struts. Does anyone recognize a theme? Black /White - Good/Evil? ALSO Recognize any other models? Canadian born Coca Rocha also strutted the runway and I just have to say: Work it girl!

LADY GAGA Goes Hip-Hop '80s/Hooker In Her New Look; She's Nearly Unrecognizable!

What's up with this whole HIP-HOP looking thing these white girls are putting on??

First kim Kardashian, and now Lady GaGa does the same! GaGa was spotted out in Toronto signing autographs with her top half looking straight out of an '80s MTV music video and her bottom half looking like a hooker who lost her pants.

Aside from all that, I wanted to post on her HOTT glasses that I found on one of my fav websites. They are called VINTAGE VERSACE S99 sunglasses. They are supposed to be exclusive; you'd really have to dig deep to find them.
