Hurricane Irene, ongoing drought in Texas, economic worries ... never mind all that. On Sunday night when Beyonce Knowles announced on MTV's Video Music Awards that she was pregnant, her baby bump gave Twitter a bump of its own. By 10:35 p.m., Twitter said people were posting a record 8,868 tweets per second. Maybe people just needed a break. Maybe they were thrilled for Knowles and her husband, rapper Jay-Z. Maybe they had electricity, something 8 million people didn't have because of the storm, and wanted to go online to flaunt it. At any rate, they helped spread the news when Knowles confirmed her pregnancy on MTV. "I want you to feel the love that's growing inside me," she said during her performance. But there was a bit of media synergy going on as people tweeted about what they were seeing.

Beyonce arrives at the MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 28, 2011, in Los Angeles.
Beyonce was spotted getting out of her SUV wearing a dress that most girls and women would be happy to grab up. The dress was from Love Culture and it was only $24. Bey paired them well with super-quality shoes, Christian Louboutin stilettos.
Well my lovely ladies, go out and get you some DRESS!!!
I'm doing a flashback on all of the hottest brands and their looks from a few seasons ago. I will be posting CLASSICS and looks that have, do, and will continue to appeal to me and the masses for fashion seasons to come.
Even though Beyonce is the obvious choice mainly because of flamboyant hair and colored background, who wore the dress RIIIIIGHT, Lady GaGa or Queen Bey?
I'm liking the colors... yes The Only Jaiden loves it. Despite Media Takeout saying that Kelly Rowland must have joined Beyonce's newest music video (yet to be released) because Bey's sales aren't doing well...
I look past all of that stuff because I'm all about fashion. So check out the COLOR BOMB COMBO of Beyonce's video snapshot above. Yellow fur coat, sequined fuchsia suit, multicolored shoes, red muscle car, over-the-top makeup...
ART. ART. ART. wouldn't you say?
Beyonce in photo shoot wearing Alex Lubomirski gown. Classic and Alluring Beyonce...
Beautiful people continue to walk this earth and they need to have a spot on THE ONLY JAIDEN to have their beauty recognized. So I have a few pics for you, pics of the weekend of people often seen out and about. I will post pics later of lesser-known but still very beautiful people.
Check out BEYONCE doing her concerts/promo for her latest album '4' in these last couple weeks. she recently did a high fashion shoot for VOGUE Italia Magazine (this particular magazine tends to do a lot of photo shoots for music artists).
Can't knock Beyonce... she got it like that and can definitely be a supermodel...

This is not from VOGUE Italia, but it's still a great pic (2011)...
Yes indeed-y, Beyonce and Jay-Z are an amazing couple because of how they run their relationship to avoid flax from the media, as well as HOW they handle the media according to business. As Beyonce moves forward with her album despite rumors of sluggish sales, Beyonce's camp assure that her latest album will debut as high as #1 in several countries all over the world.
Beyonce also has Jay-Z accompanying her in Paris; she's doing an early promo in the UK, which would (according to Necole B***hie) explain the correlation between the far higher anticipation of Beyonce in the UK and her starting her promo and tour early in the UK (same situation with Rihanna).
And may I add, BEYONCE LOOKS WAYY HOTT in that dress and 6-inch Louboutins... and fist bump to Jay-Z for keeping' it classic with his white Adidas shelltoes.
Well many of you know that Beyonce performed for the 2011 BET Awards from halfway around the world (somewhat-- at Glastonbury Music Festival in England). Doesn't she look stunning in that SIZZLIN' gold dress.
Sexy she is...
Sexy can I... *LOL*
Even though a lot of people may have been upset that Beyonce did not perform (genuinely) for BET, at least she did recognize BET a little by having her England fans give a shout out to BET; after all, it IS BET's first international viewing... with Queen Bey front and center.
BEYONCE recently did an interview in which she said that she wanted to make songs that are classics, songs that she will sing when she's 40 and even 60. So check out her photo above from TIME Magazine.
Much too hot, isn't it? I think it's cool that at her age (29), she does not feel the initial need to be on top of the world, but she sure does want to make a lasting impression and be a staple in the history of music.
Check out a few more pics of Queen Bey in the next few posts.
You might know Jessie J from her smash hit Price Tag – the light poppy song that has invaded our airwaves. The song also has cutesy video; reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland. Think puppets, large teddy bears, bright colors and a money tree! In the video Jessie J consistently mixes up her style choices switching it up from gothic style cat suits to brightly coloured (almost childlike) outfits
I LOVE this lace jump suit
Each piece is impeccably paired with her gorgeous black bob and some crazy lips. This leads me to the point of the post. LIPS. I have a new obsession: jewel encrusted lips.
Jessie J is no stranger to the jewel encrusted lips and has been photographed more than once with some funky looking lips. The first time I noticed her lips was when I was watching the video for her song “Do it Like a Dude.” The video has a Rihanna-esqe (remember Disturbia) vibe and has a limited lyrical vocabulary.
The chorus is repeated multiple times during the song... I can do it like a brother, do it like a dude, grab my crotch, wear my hat low like you

In a recent interview, conducting by Artist Direct, Jessie J explained what inspired her to write the song:
Well, I've tried wee'ing standing up and it's not as easy unless you're a guy (Laughs). "Do It Like A Dude" for me is very much, the deeper meaning is that everyone is equal. No one should make you feel intimidated and you can go, you know what, eff you, I can be who I wanna be and stand on my own two feet and not feel like I can't because you're making me feel like I can't.
But at the same time it's a parody of the typical male that exists today and it's kind of a tongue in cheek, a way of going, you know, this is funny. It's not that I hate men. It's not like we're saying, women are better, we hate men. That's not it at all. But you know, sometimes it's nice to have an empowered feeling that makes everybody so equal. It was the quickest song that I've ever written. I wrote it in about 15 or 20 minutes. It's very, very simple and I think that's the beauty of it, is that everyone can sing along. And I'm glad we released it first in the UK because it didn't give everything away. Because it definitely shook up some controversy.
So the question remains. Does valorizing masculinity in women liberate women? It’s interesting to juxtapose this video with Beyonce’s We Run the World. While Jessie J dresses and mimics masculinity, Beyonce uses her sexuality to advocate for female empowerment. Which one do you think is better?
Check out Beyonce in her latest photo shoot (with some similarities to Rihanna "Rated R" period with a smidge of "Sasha Fierce") with ATTITUDE. With an eye for ART, I can truly appreciate the meaning behind the photos. I like the earthy nature and some of the industrial ruins of America in contrast with Beyonce's very fashion and time-forward look.
