Another celebrity slithers into fall's hottest trend

I know you are all probably sick and tired of my constant posts about snakeskin, but it seems as if this fall trend is spreading like wild fire. Need two more examples? (Probably not, but I'm going to give them anyway!) As I walked through the mall, I noticed my favourite Michael Kor's Hamilton tote (I bought one in white) with a snakeskin print. Swoon. The bag retails for around $450 dollars and is available at the Rideau Mall. Unfortunately since I already splurged for the white Hamilton tote, I can't imagine purchasing the identical bag in snakeskin.

Not loving the snakeskin print? Well it seems as if this fad will certainly stick around for a couple of months as another celebrity has embraced snakeskin! Lady Gaga was seen this weekend leaving the Chateau Marmont on in a yellow Versace (FW2011) print cocktail dress. She paired this fabulous dress with velvet Louboutins.

Bag Obsession

It finally happened. My first huge purchase came in the form of a bag...a beautiful bag. Ever since I bought it, I have to say that I keep on justifying it in my head. If you do not know me, I am a poor student. I am a Masters student with no job (except for a side job as a Teaching Assistant at my University). I fell in love with the bag back in September. Every time I walked by Michael Kors, I would stare longingly at the bag...The straw that broke the camels back was when I went inside the store. Ill just see how the bag looks when I carry it. I picked up the bag and walked towards the mirror. Wow. I look good. And that was all it took, one glance and I was completely smitten. I did not buy the bag right away, I decided to sleep on it. One day turned into two and then into three. It was hard to justify it but the bag just kept on sitting on my mind... It was calling out to me. Yvonnnnneeeeeeee come buy me!

Today, I decided that enough was enough. I could not take it anymore! I was worried about the price tag but also the color. I didn't want the brown, blue or black one... the color I wanted was vanilla. But I can be dirty sometimes, so I was worried that I was going to scuff it! But as I stood at Michael Kors, in front of the mirror, I noticed that the brown/black/blue ones did not look as good as the white one. So I splurged. I splurged and although I do feel guilty, I LOVE IT.  And voila! My (not so interesting) story. What do you think! Do YOU love it.
