Ok. Do not judge me, but I read Perez Hilton religiously (and Cocoperez). I like that the posts are so short and sweet, it gets right to the point. After a long day of reading articles about development issues, it is always nice to relax with some celebrity gossip (and fashion). Although I love the site, I personally have never liked Perez Hilton. I have also heard that he is quite the diva when you met him (no surprise there!) NONETHELESS... I am glad that he stopped bullying celebrities on his blog (remember Potato Head?) For an (formerly) overweight man, he was very judgmental. And that is what I dislike about Perez: he is a complete hypocrite. If you read his blog, you probably notice that he has consistently scorned celebrities that smoke. He recently commented on the presence of a cigarette in the hand of Kate Moss as she walked the Louis Vuitton fashion show in Paris. He states: Do not have a drag, just be a queen.
HYPOCRITE!
Perez Hilton was featured in Rihanna's S&M music video. He was on all fours (pretending to be a dog) while Rihanna held his leash and .....wait for it...... SMOKED A CIGARETTE. If he really was against cigarettes, then why would he have agreed to participate in a music video that glorifies smoking a cigarette. In the end, this just shows that money (and fame) are more important than his values. Tsk tsk.
