On the Hunt

I was at the Walk the Truth Charity Gala on Sunday and low-and-beyond a piece of my past came back to bite me in the butt! I first laid eyes on the Jeffrey Campbell Clinic Boots when I was sent an email by a consignment store in Toronto informing allemail recipients that people could pre-order these fabulous shoes. But I hesitated when I saw the price tag. I was already in Ottawa at that moment and I never (and I mean NEVER) buy anything before I try it on. So I passed on the shoes.  6 months later and I was sitting at the fashion show when I noticed that the second model was wearing shoes that were vaguely familiar.... She was wearing those beautiful Jeffrey Campbell Clinic Boots that I had lusted for but had not bought. After the show I caught up with the model to chat about the shoes. She did not know where they were from but she did turn to me and say "these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn on the runway." And with that simple sentence, a little piece of me died. Why oh why did I not buy them! Does anyone have any idea were I can snag a pair? I know the dress is up for auction but do you think the boots could be put up too!!!!
