Our Binibini queens have been crowned, and we’re left anticipating for the big pageant coming later this year.
By now, you should know that Shamcey Supsup has won the Binibining Pilipinas – Universe title, and that she’ll represent the Philippines in the Miss Universe pageant this coming September in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Now I have to admit I wasn’t the biggest Supsup fan when the competition started. But now that she’s representing the Philippines, I think we should all be behind her. I guess Stella Araneta saw her rawness as refreshing, and exceptional, given how much pageant patties she’s encountered, year in, year out. And I’m really getting a Penelope Cruz vibe from her walk and face. Maybe that’ll make her standout in Brazil?
