NATALIA VODIANOVA'S forthcoming White Fairy Tale Love Ball promises to be the most spectacular fundraising event of 2011. Held at the chateau of Valentino and Giancarlo Giammetti, the ball will be styled by scenographer Alexandre de Betak and attended by the fashion world's biggest names.
The event will comprise dinner and cocktails within the Valentino archive followed by a fashion show of the 40 dresses created by Vodianova's designer friends to be auctioned at the event.
Designer names including Alexander McQueen, Lanvin, Tom Ford, Christopher Kane, Riccardo Tisci, Versace, Viktor + Rolf, Diane von Furstenberg, Chanel, Giambattista Valli, Dolce & Gabbana, Gareth Pugh, Alexander Wang, Balmain, Giorgio Armani, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Christian Dior, Giles Deacon, Givenchy, Gucci, Hussein Chalayan, Julien McDonald, Louis Vuitton, Marchesa, Nina Ricci, Olivier Theyskens, Oscar de la Renta, Prada, Roberto Cavalli, Stella McCartney, Valentino, Vera Wang, Vivienne Westwood, Worth and Yves Saint Laurent have created dresses for the event. Vodianova modelled each of the dresses, captured by Paolo Roversi, and the images will be featured in a limited-edition book.
All proceeds from the event during Couture Week in Paris will go to Vodianova's Naked Heart Foundation."
