Christian Siriano Fall/Winter 2011

His two collections were huge over-the-top productions and sadly did not garner him rave reviews. But it seems as if this Project Runway alum has certainly redeemed himself with his new Fall & Winter 2011 Collection. 

Christian Siriano recently unveiled his new collection at New York Fashion week. Although his designs still lack a certain type of cohesion, his artistic direction has certainly become a little focused. 

For his collection, Siriano kept his infamous ruffled ball gowns, but also incorporated more subtle, feminine and wearable pieces to the mix. The only qualm I have is that the pieces are mostly black and charcoal. 

I want to start seeing designers add more splashes of color in their Fall/Winter collections (red, yellow, pink!)
