On a recent trip to New York I saw a fabric exhibit at the
Lee Young Hee Museum of Korean Culture. The small
Museum which I've written about
twice is a favorite of mine. This visit the Museum was showing lengths of fabric dyed in beautiful colors. Dried
safflowers were used in the dyeing process.
The colorful brochure was mostly in Korean but that didn't deter me from enjoying the exhibit.
The Museum is long and narrow so the colorful fabrics were hung in front of the display cases of traditional Korean costumes.
