I was a woman on a mission. After meeting a model at the Walk the Truth benefit who was wearing a pair, I knew that I had to own them. The model raved about the shoes, she said they were the most comfortable platforms that she's ever worn. SOLD! Now the problem was that I needed to find them. Ottawa's shoe selection is already limited and these shoes were from the Fall 2010 season. But nowadays you can find anything on the internet. N'est pas? So I googled my little heart out until I could a website the completely blew my mind. It's called Solestruck and it's a website that solely for shoes! Swoon. I checked the website in April but low and behold the shoes were out of stock. But the website has a great little feature. If a shoe is out of stock, you can put yourself on a list and you will be emailed the second those shoes are back in stock. After a month of waiting, my Jeffrey Campbell Clinics were back on the shelf and I jumped on the opportunity. The purchase was painless and the delivery was swift! I was SO happy with the company. So now I am spreading the word. Want some cool shoes? I would recommend Solestruck 100%. They even have little notes about the shoes. For example they mentioned that these Jeffrey Campbell shoes are a little big in the heel and suggested that people go one size down. Check. And they fit perfectly! I am already scooping out new shoes. The website just got a shipment of Australian shoes called SENSO. Another obsession.
The shoes are called Ruzzy and they will run you about 229.00 (plus shipping and handling). Personally, I can't justify another expensive shoe purchase so I have to hold off on these ones. But I would check out the website even if it's just to browse the shoes.
