DAVID KOMA has added Natalia Vodianova to his celebrity following, which currently includes Beyoncé and Cheryl Cole. The supermodel chose to wear a one-shoulder dress from the label's autumn/winter 2011 collection, at the British Fashion Council's NEWGEN sponsorship announcement last night.
‘He is just a fabulous designer,’ Vodianova told us at the event. ‘Maybe it's to do with my figure, but his designs just fit like a glove. He's great at mixing different textures and colours, and I love how subtle his clothes are - they're sexy but elegant.’
Koma, who received NEWGEN sponsorship for the fourth season last night, couldn't be more happy with his new muse.
‘We met through a mutual friend a year ago and just stayed in touch,’ he explained. ‘She looks amazing and is an amazing woman. She is a huge inspiration to me.’
Vodianova may have missed out on Koma's last show in February, but we can expect a front row appearance next season.
‘I'm pretty busy, but I'm determined to make it to the next show in September,’ she told us. ‘David's Russian like me, I want to support him - we have that bond'."
