Green is Just Green or Is It?

Several years ago one of my daughters commented that Vermont was so green in the summer is was "totally boring". Her art teacher suggested she count the different shades of green she saw and then ask herself if the color were still boring. When I'm out taking photos in summer I think of this teacher and how he changed how we look at nature.




The maple leaves were this shade of green late in the day with the sun almost at the horizon.
