HOLGA - BARNS

On my drive to work I've noticed that the early morning sun shining on old barns brings out a warmth in their faded colors not seen when the sun is higher in the sky. These barns are on a narrow two lane road with no shoulder so I pulled off onto the grass to take these photos. The road is a shortcut used by many of us going to work and two people I know were kind enough to stop and ask if I were having car problems. I held up my Holga, smiled and thanked them.


Double exposure. I like the contrast of the older barn with the modern gate.






I took this photo on bulb mode and held the shutter open longer, thus the dreamy look.
