HOLGA - Woods

Usually I shoot color film as I like color, the more the better. However I picked up some recently expired Ilford black and white film and a suggestion to try a red filter over the camera lens as it would bring out more shades of gray. The human eye sees something like just over 200 shades of gray. I also bought a book on using filters on cameras and read parts of it. The place where I take many many photos is near where I live so I walked across the street and shot some photos. The combination of the expired film and the red filter gave the place a different look.
