New York Chinatown- Holga -Crossing the Street

I wanted to take "shoot from the hip" pictures of crowds of people walking along the street but it was too early in the day. Then I noticed people waiting together to cross the street. So I took pictures waiting for lights to change and walking across different streets.


I like the color combination of the building where Ho Ho Florist is located.


A busy intersection. People, cars, construction.


The lights were red in both directions as the bicyclist zipped across the street at the last minute.



Crowds shopping, looking around and a woman pushing a stroller.


People carrying plastic shopping bags and an elegant older woman crossing the street.



I almost walked into these people so intent was I on taking a double exposure.
