My summer fascination with corn has ended (well almost ended) as the stalks have turned tan and many fields are mowed so only stubbles of stalks remain. However fall foliage is exceptional this year with vivid reds, oranges and yellows. Last Saturday afternoon I drove around the countryside and took pictures of tan corn fields and foliage.
Big blue sky and a hint of color.
A tan corn field the farmer hasn't yet mowed.
The red sumac stand out beside the tan corn field.
I wonder if the the whole building will be painted bright red and if so will the greenery that's in front of the pink side of the building be cut down? Perhaps a very thin person can squeeze behind the greenery and paint this side?
I like the stripes formed by the gray road, green grass, tan corn field with a hint of foliage and blue sky.
"Drivin' along in my automobile". Couldn't resist including such a "Holga" photo.
