A nice place to relax on a rainy afternoon. Spacious yet relaxing after spending two hours in a mega Tokyo department store. I was looking not shopping so does it count as a "cultural outing".
I liked the view into the work area of the restaurant.
The fellow sitting in front of the window had his head down the whole time I was there.
Closer view of the rain.
Mango pudding which was not too sweet and a great afternoon pick-me-up. The bell on the upper left of the tray was to ring if I need anything. The restaurant was large enough that every time someone rang the waitresses ran around trying to see who needed something.
Oolong tea served in Chinese Yixing teapot and cup. Notice the spill next to the blue cup. It took the waitress three tries to pour the tea so it all went into the cup and not onto the tray. Many sorry sorry sorry from the waitress. By the time I used all the hot water in the pitcher I'd finally figured out that if I didn't fill the teapot full of water the tea all went into the cup.
