After Paris Prêt-à-Porter Fashion Week, where I'll be shooting an episode of The Facehunter Show, I'll be off to Kiev for the Ukrainian Fashion Week. First time in Ukraine, I'm very intrigued.

More Winter Again - Holga
This winter it's difficult to remember which pictures go with what storm. These photos are from the day after last week's mid-week storm (as opposed to the weekend storm). It was a sunny day with clouds which rolled by very quickly. I used fujichrome film which I had cross processed. I like how the cross processing intensified the blues.
This is a run on photo. I advance the film but stop before the next number is in the middle of the view finder.
Double exposure.
The dark blue in the upper left corner was a dark gray cloud. The red is a light leak which Holga's are know for.

Holga - Expired Ektachrome
I shot two rolls of expired (03/2007) Ektachrome 100 Plus from the same box on different days and places. The box had 5 rolls in it so I have three more to experiment with. The photos from each roll are very different as you can see below. I'm looking forward to shooting the remaining rolls.

New clothes on the ground by a dumpster across the street from the Empire State Building. Again swinging my arm as I shot the picture.
Stuff on the ground on the other side of the dumpster. Sometimes I like to walk with my Holga in my hand, my arm at my side and snap photos.

Blue Sky Between Snow Storms
Look quickly.
The sky was so blue yesterday morning as the clouds rolled by.

Wow- More Snow
Yesterday's snowfall. Heavy wet snow while lovely to look at sometimes brings down tree branches and power lines. Fortunately the sun came out and the temperature was above freezing so by early afternoon most of the snow had melted off the trees and bushes.
