On November 18th between 20,000 and 25,000 people in San Diego marched in
protest of the passage of
California Proposition 8 which denies same sex couples the right to marry. I totally disagree with its passage and felt it was important to participate in the protest. I was glad I was San Diego that day. The pictures were taken with my Holga using fujichrome and I had the film cross processed.
People gathered at Balboa Park where the march began. Many people made signs to carry in the march.

Clever signs convey the message that while Proposition 2 which is about the treatment of animals passed Proposition 8 which deals with how gay people are treated was rejected.
