Old Ciderhouse - Holga

Late one afternoon last week I took these photos using my Holga 120N. Between 4:30 and 5:00PM the sun is low in the sky here. I shot 400 speed film and set the shutter on "bulb' mode which allows the shutter to stay open longer. I had no idea what the photos would look like. "Weird and overexposed," the guy at the photo store commented. We smiled as he knows I like weird.


The few leaves on the branches above the ciderhouse add to the strangeness of the photo. I've taken photos of this building before and only realized it was an old ciderhouse when I came upon it form a different direction.



Even the grass looks weird.



Hazy. I like how the blue sky is refected in the windows.

I was moving out of the way on an oncoming car when I took this last photo. The ciderhouse is located at four corners and there isn't much traffic but when there is people drive kind of fast. But I got out of the way in plenty of time.
